Public services provided by the Department of Infrastructure (DfI) and the Driver Vehicle Agency on Monday 19th September 2022

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the announcement of a statutory holiday on the day of the state funeral on Monday, September 19, the Department advises the following:

DfI Buildings and Services

There will be no public access to DfI buildings. In the event of an incident or emergency requiring a DfI response, please use the out of hours contact numbers on NI Direct: DfI Roads Emergency/Out of Hours contact details | Infrastructure Department (infrastructure-ni.gov.uk)

Driving Vehicles Agency (DVA)

All DVA test centers will be closed on Monday, September 19. The DVA will be contacting all customers with an appointment for a vehicle or driving test for Monday, September 19, 2022 directly to reschedule their tests as soon as possible. Driving theory tests will also be suspended and customers will be contacted directly by the service provider with advice on how to reschedule.

Parking Restrictions

Motorists are advised that all parking restrictions, including on-street charging, remain in effect Monday, September 19.

Strangford Ferry

A normal sailing schedule will be in effect on Monday, September 19.
