This Quran translation is available in two editions. This edition (A) uses the word "Allah" to refer to the Creator. Edition (B) uses the word "God".

    For a glimpse at why Islamic countries are among the most corrupt and non-functional, and how a man who is a self confessed murderer, liar, rapist and paedophile, yet can be venerated as a paragon of virtue - look no further than this unimaginative and uninspired piece of literature. Upon understanding the base self-serving philosophies of a religion that promotes violence, rape (Surah Al Anfal; Spoils) and the utter disregard for non-Muslims (unless they pay the Jizya in humiliation and live as 2nd class citizens) it becomes apparent as to why Islam is anathema to western society and completely incompatable with a modern era and communities built on trust, ethical conduct and mutual respect.

    The book is in no particular order and some of the translation is odd "evil sneaky whisperers" in the last chapter. That can't be right. If I hadn't read the bible first, it wouldn't have made much sense. The bit with Ruth for example was odd if you don't know the story. Maybe I'm reading it wrong. A billion people can't all be wrong.
